Planning & Zoning
To ensure alignment with the Township’s zoning, plans for development in L’Anse Township must undergo a review by either the Zoning Administrator or the Planning Commission. Please submit completed application and fee to the L’Anse Township Hall during business hours, by mail, or the drop box located in front of the building.
A Zoning Compliance Permit is required prior to the issuance of any building permit and does not take the place of a building permit.

Please refer to the zoning ordinance and map to determine the correct district and process applicable to your project. If you are unsure which district your parcel is in, please contact the Township.
