The Election Commission will hold a meeting following the regular monthly meeting on July 8, 2020 at 5:00 pm to discuss and appoint election inspectors for the August 4, 2020 State Primary Election.

The L’Anse Township Planning Commission will be meeting at the L’Anse Township Hall on Wednesday, June 17 at 4:00 pm.

Due to COVID 19 concerns and restrictions, the Township Treasurer’s office and Clerk’s office will temporarily be closed until further notice. The hall will also be closed to outside group usage until further notice. Notice of Public Budget Hearing

The L’Anse Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed township budget for fiscal year 2020-2021 on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 3:00 pm at the L’Anse Township Hall, 126 N. Main Street.

*The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.

A copy of the budget is available for public inspection at the L’Anse Township Office, during open office hours.

This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act) MCLA 41.721 (2) (3) and the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

The L’Anse Township Board will provide necessary reasonable auxiliary aids and services such as signers for hearing impaired and audio tapes of printed materials being considered at the meeting to individuals with disabilities at the meeting upon three (3) days notice to the L’Anse Township Board.
